NHS Meningitis B Vaccine (17-18 years) – MenB

Description

The MenB (Meningitis B) vaccine provides strong protection against one of the most common and serious causes of meningitis in the UK, especially in babies, young children, and adolescents. It helps prevent life‑threatening infections caused by meningococcal group B bacteria, which historically accounted for the majority of meningococcal disease cases in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria.

Only those who are between 17-18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 can book via NHS online.

Older students aged 24 or under and starting university or some types of residential further education, you can book an appointment via our Men B Service for young people on our webpage. Please contact your local branch if you need further assistance.
